Thinking of a change? Our home we where we recharge away from the world. Whether you are new to the PNW or just ready to change up your current long time home. We love working with clients to understand how we can redeisgn the space to increase quality of daily life and value. The Puget sound area has beautiful homes from the 1880's to present. It is common to find a small cabin from 1890 that was added on to in boom times during the roaring 1920's, Then struggled in the 1930's only to be added to again with the post war boom of the 1940's, Then Mid century homes came in 1950's and 60's, Split levels and the energy crisis during the 1970's lead to interesting remodels to save power.
Chances are we will understand lots of details about why your 100 year old home is the way it is today. We have been there and know the path to correct it to current code.
We design new kitchens are a focal part of the greater gathering space. The Heart of every home. So our design begins with a discussion around your dream kitchen as well as your daily lifestyle. Starting with the range stack wall and building around that key area. Lots of options including moving walls or windows to open spaces in older homes.
Bathroom design is all about the clients needs. Here is the pacific Northwest is cold and wet outside so we build a warm retreat from the world starting with the shower and tub areas and build out from there. Heated floors can be a change your world in the winter. Free standing tubs built into a wet room shower space. We create a mixture of plumbing fixtures like rain heads, side sprayers, Wall mounted tub fillers. Lots of interesting ways to create a unique space for you.
We have designed & built small 1 acre hobby farms to large equestrian estates. Many from 100+ year old homesteads that needed new life. Land has become harder to find so repurposing older farms has become a great way for people to enjoy a quieter way of life.
